Rose-colored

gold shining and scratch-free, avoid contact with chlorine and other

- My mom was happy when she had received this for mothers day, and even
the shipment was early! It was expected to be a late gift (the day
after) but i had actually received it a day earlier. That was the great
news.
- The thing that really stood out to me that was a
disappointment was the quality of the metal and durable feel of the
chain and ornament. The chain is extremely thin, although luxurious
looking, it sure will NOT stand up to any abuse what so ever. I was a
bit scared to even put the necklace around my mother's neck for the
chain feels that cheap! The heart pendant is nice looking overall, but
again the quality of that is poor as well. The text is extremely small,
and you can only read it with 20/20 vision i say at my best guess and
nothing less. Overall its a good looking piece, but definitely a very
delicate one that you should only given to someone who will take those
unnecessary protective precautions to keep it from being damaged.
- Way, way to small I had thought that it was going to be the size of
what the pic shows ~ NOT ~ was I ever wrong.. You can not read the
reading on it its way to small.. If your looking for a gift for your
wife keep looking your not going to want this..! Made very cheep and
very poorly.. we all know the saying you get for what you pay for and
for this item that is so very true its a rather low cost item there for
its very poorly made..

- I received this item very quickly and it did come in a very nice box
with a poem. Unfortunately, the bracelet is so small that it can't
possibly fit any adult's wrist. I am very thin and it wouldn't even fit
on me. I plan on having my mom use it as a keychain. I read how a
couple of other reviews said it was small but I thought maybe it was
just small for those particular people. I wish there would have been
dimensions listed in the review because then I wouldn't have bought it.
It is very pretty but I am extremely disappointed that it is so small
and don't feel like going through the hassle of sending it back. Trust
me, it is SMALL!!

- I bought the grandmother bracelet for my mom and mother in law for
Christmas from the kids. There were cheap so I wasn't expecting much
but they are well made and they absolutely loved them. I liked them so
much I bought the mother one for myself! Beautiful and well made.
Can't beat the price. I have even seen ones for teachers and plan on
getting on of those too!

Mother's Day [Blu-ray/DVD Combo] (2010)
From the maker of Saw II, III and IV, Mother's Day is a graphic remake
of the Troma horror classic, Mother's Day. After a bank robbery gone
wrong, three brothers go home to hideout...only to discover that their
Mother (Rebecca De Mornay) lost their house in a foreclosure. The new
owners and their party guests become the depraved brothers' unwitting
hostages. Their sadistic Mother soon arrives and brilliantly takes
control of the situation, ratcheting up the terror. As the hostages
struggle desperately to survive the harrowing torture, they realize that
there is nothing a Mother won't do to protect her children. Based on
Mother's Day written by Charles Kaufman and Warren Leight, screenstory
and screenplay by Scott Milam and Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman,
Mother's Day also stars Jaime King, Briana Evigan, Patrick Flueger,
Deborah Ann Woll, Matt O' Leary, Jessie Rusu, Frank Grillo, Warren Kole,
and Shawn Ashmore.
MOTHER'S DAY starts out as a fairly well made, engrossing thriller, then about midway through the picture, it takes a nose-dive. Violence and gore go way over the top and characters start behaving in very unbelievable ways.
Apparently director Darren Lynn Bousman, who directed three of the Saw movies, was trying to appeal to that same audience, but the sad fact is that, with the talent involved here, a more moderate and realistic approach to the material might have appealed to a much broader group of viewers.
The screenwriters seem to have borrowed elements from THE DESPERATE HOURS, RESERVOIR DOGS and KEY LARGO in this story about a trio of bank robbing brothers, escaping from a heist that went wrong, who take refuge in their family home, only to discover that their mother doesn't live there any longer. Instead, they find it occupied by a couple, throwing a party for several friends, and they take them hostage.
With one of the trio badly wounded from the robbery, they phone their mother, who arrives to take charge of the situation, which involves the terrorizing and torture of the eight hostages, all of whom have their own dark secrets revealed on this horrifying night.
The cast is quite good, particularly Rebecca De Mornay, who plays the maniacal mother, but even her fine performance dissipates as the movie's blood fest escalates. It's too bad that these filmmakers have not heard that LESS IS MORE.
The 2-disc DVD/Blu-Ray Combo Pack from Anchor Bay Entertainment includes audio commentary by the director and actor Shawn Ashmore.

- Many of you eagerly awaiting to see this remake need hold on just a
bit longer. Many are probably asking themselves "It's finished...so why
the hold-up (no pun intended...)". All I can think of, seriously, is
that the producers and directors can't find a way to release it
theatrically in the USA without it receiving an NC-17. Within 5 minutes
of it's beginning it gets very violent and doesn't let up. Not really a
horror movie as it is a crime drama/thriller, it really packs a punch to
your gut and never lets up. It's almost non-stop action and very
brutal. To avoid this problem though of always having to wait for films
to appear stateside, I suggest investing in a region free DVD player
(that cost as little as $65.00 U.S. Funds if purchased on-line) and you
can watch any DVD that rears it's ugly digital-celluloid head much
sooner, (if ever), than their USA counterparts...you will NEVER be
sorry. Back to Mother's Day, as for an official US release, I don't
know, thats a tough call. It's not a follow-up to the original other
than a couple of nods in that the "boys" have the same names
(Adley)...and one of them mentions that he hates Disco, etc. All I can
say in closing is that if you wait your just taking you're chances that
you'll see a domestic release or as time goes on you'll just forget
about it. It is a good one so I would make the effort to get it ASAP.
You'll be happy you did...
- "Look at me, if someone's lying there will be consequences. I
guarantee it." After three teens commit a crime they run to their
mother's house for safety. When they get there they find out that the
home was foreclosed on and there are now new people living there. The
mother (De Mornay) shows up and begins to take control to get her and
her boys out safe. I have to say that going in I was expecting a pretty
lame B movie. This was much better then I thought. Very tense and pretty
scary in the fact that this movie could actually happen. Imagine having
a party with your friends when a group of criminals with guns show up
thinking it's their house. What would you do. This movie is made for me
by the fact that Rebecca De Mornay is playing a similar character that
she played in "Hand That Rocks The Cradle". She has the same level of
"normal-creepiness" that is makes her seem at once normal and insane. To
me that is creepy. This is a good watch. Overall, if the woman from
"Hand That Rocks The Cradle" grew up this is the type of person and
movie it would become. I give it a B.

- The picture here doens't do it much justice, it is a beautiful piece,
got it for my wife (from my 8 month old daughter) for Valentines day,

pouch it came in was very big, and the way it was packaged made it look
cheap (it was in a plastic folding piece, sort of like the plastic
sheets earrings come in), so i took it out the plastic and put it in a
nice box. all in all, pretty satisfied with my purchase.
